It’s just a piece of 2” wide flat iron 3/16” thick, and about 6 1/2” or 7” long with an angled slot cut in from each corner about 1 ¼”. Then the middle bent up and the outside parts bent down. Have a hole in the part going up to attach a chain to and attach that chain to a chain going around your ankle, get it adjusted so it don’t hang down from the boot and you’re set to go. I leave it on the rubber boot all the time and just slip the boot on and off when I go out and in. It is sure cheaper than anything I’ve been able to afford to buy and works a lot better. Simple and effective.
