From Big John’s Vantage Point or Through the Ears of a Donkey.
This morning after I fed the goats and put the hay out, then let all of the goats out of their stalls, Bunny wanted out also. She kept telling me that she had been in there long enough. I ignored her so when I left, she left also, up onto the warming barrel and out. When Kathy mentioned that she was wanting out when I was bringing in the wood, I checked and she was out. I let it be and when I went out to clean up I put the kid out for a while to start getting to know everything. The other kids had already found her, as I had hooked the gate open. The donkeys never paid much attention at first. Big John kept hanging close to me wanting some carrots so I got a shot of the goats through his ears before he started backing up to keep me from leaning over his back. The kid would walk right under them so Jenny finally checked out the kid.
